"Above the Fray" Legislative Session Report

We are pleased to share with you IHA’s Spring 2008 Legislative Report, "Above the Fray," which summarizes the activities of the Spring session, with particular emphasis on the issues of greatest concern to our members. You’ll find highlights of ways we worked together with you to react to the intense scrutiny and challenges our hospitals faced—and continue to face. By focusing on the right hospital facts and issues, we strengthened relationships with key opinion leaders. By skillful negotiation and grassroots advocacy, we succeeded in showing the strength and effectiveness of Illinois’ united hospital community.
